My last visit 2 years ago was very different, quality has now dropped, the seafood chowder is watery. I expect better from the Doyles name.

This is a great alternative to Doyle's on the Beach which is a little fancier and more expensive. The seafood is wonderful and the portions large enough to share. There is also ample seating there or take your food to the nearby park.

Have read quite a few negative reviews on TA about this place, but as I only wanted a quick brunch, I chanced it and went anyway. I ordered the seafood chowder, and I must say it's a generous portion for AUD8.50. It was flavourful with...More
The crowds come her in droves so it is worth the long standing wait for food. Get friends to sit inside so only one of you has to wait at the main counter. The food and views here are magnificent
A wonderful way to while away the time, watching our glorious harbour, dining on fresh seafood & sipping a good glass or two of red!
Great fresh all Australian Seafood. Outdoor dining under cover with bay view. Dinner with bottle of wine $175 AUD. Lunch cheaper. Also have self serve store at dock. Large adjacent outdoor bar. Small beach not suitable for swimming. Nearby dock with shark net better for...More
