We were quick to get off the ferry and order then sat on the beach. Very busy so maybe best to go out of the summer season when there aren't so many tourists.

You pay a little more but the quality & variety is very good from this takeaway on the wharf. The queues can be long but they are very efficient and quick.
This is the second time we have been to Doyles on the Wharf ... the food is always good, the service exceptional, the atmosphere is lively and there's always a crowd - a sure sign of quality
Straight off the ferry and que up for takeaway Fish and Chips. You can either sit at the table behind of on the beach or nearby park. The que was long but it's worth the weight, once you order it's ready in no-time. Seafood Basket...More
