This was my first time to Vegie Hut. Really liked the decor and staff were friendly. I ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup and it came with mock seafood (looked like prawns). It was really delicious and generous. I would come back to try their other meals.

Look...I'm a vegitarian and I go there with my eyes wide open. It's got a really good selection of dishes (many involving Faux Meats), but please just make sure that the volume on your taste buds is turned down a little. If not, you may be a bit disappointed with the food. The fresh vegetable stir fires are delicious but... More

Thursday night and pretty well patronised. We chose GF (gluten free) for the tofu with preserved vegetables and the mock pork ribs in black bean sauce will be what I recommend. The stir fried Yee Mee (noodles) is flavourful and passably oily. We over ordered and had to take away the herbal lamb pot. Large portions. Mid range pricing.

If I gonna drive close to 35km from Tullamarine to Box hill for dinner here, it better worth the drive. Well I ain't vegetarian but I must comment the food rocks!!! 👍👍👍 I wasn't disappointed and was, infact, impressed with the quality of food and customer service. Worth the visit. The fact that it is packed with throng of customers... More

While the food here is great, why do I feel unwelcome every time I go there. Its not the most warming of invitations.

Spectacular vegetarian food that taste not only great but is healthy as well. It's more to the Malaysian palate and it's fantastic. Variety is great but the prices are also a bit stiff compared to other restaurants around.

It's been more than 5 years since my last visit to this place for a meal. Main reason being expensive. Had a dinner with another friend and we ordered entrees such as nuggets and spring rolls. For main, we had fried beancurd with mixed vegetables and soy honey "chicken". All food for the night are presented well and tastes good.... More

Nice selection. Reasonably good atmosphere. Have enjoyed their dishes especially the lemon chicken. They open only on certain days of the week so best to check first. Also note that they don't accept AMEX!

Sauces mast the blandness and change the flavours but it is still basically still tofu dressed up as many other things. If you are vegetarian this is a good place to try.

Had lunch with the extended family, really enjoyed the noodles with mock seafood with all the interesting textures and flavours they managed to create with tofu. Roast mock duck was a bit hard rather than crispy; mock shark fin and Asian mushrooms on spinach were pleasant. All in all an enjoyable experience and would return.
