Had a sausage roll $3.30 and the beef and burgundy pie (alleged anyway) $5.70 a drink $4.00 and sauce 2x30C - was charged $13.70 and no individual prices listed (just classes of pies)!!- I opted for the dearer chunkie - woops!! The sausage roll had the hardness of a crow bar (I ate that as I have good teeth) and... More

Have just had the most amazing chilli con carne pie. We went for a drive to this cute little town and stopped for coffee. Very friendly staff and tasty hot coffee. Bought a vanilla slice for the way home which was just delicious. Will definately be a regular visitor here now. Loved it

A bit disappointed in both the pie and the pastie, we had a curry pie which did not have much meat or gravy and I think was a sweet curry as there seemed to be lots of apple(I think) cubes in it. The meat and vegetable pastie didn't have a whole lot of meat plenty of potato and a few... More

The vegie pastie was disappointing but the meat pie was delicious. The staff member that served me didn't seem that interested. Came across as 'just a bakery' nothing special which was a shame because it looked lovely from the outside

Friendly staff and good food make this a popular stop for people visiting Clunes. Lovely outdoor area looking out to the main street is perfect for relaxing with a book from the many local booksellers (most of them are only open on the weekend though).

I was looking forward to a vegetarian pastie today so visited this bakery. Well it was all potatoe with a few tiny pieces of carrot & was slightly over flavoured for my taste.. Pastry was excellent. Could you please put in some spinach, peas more carrot & perhaps some swede & parsnip. Thats what I call a pastie.

This is a good, basic bakery cafe with excellent service and very reasonable prices. It has a few tables out front which are ideal if travelling with dogs in tow. We enjoyed the bread we took home wit us as well.

We visited Clunes twice as we were staying in Cresswick which is only a 15 minute drive away. On the first occasion I purchased some Sour Dough Rolls from this Bakery for dinner. The bakery is located at the end of the main street in Clunes. On the second occasion we had a Chicken and Leek Pie with perfect pastry... More
