Top experience all round. Location tops, one of the few truly beachfront restaurants on the Bay. Terrific service from the friendly staff. Food quality & quantity excellent.

As the restaurant is directly on the beach, the view is amazing. On clear days, you even see Melbourne's skyline. The staff is not very friendly (nor unfriendly, to be fair), but it feels like they do not have to bother as people come here anyway.

Prices at Waves on the Beach are definitely up there, however the quality of the food, staff attentiveness and ambiance are average. The wine list is poor. I would not recommend and will not be going again next time I am in Frankston.

A marvellous view from inside the glass with a very windy balcony had the door between the two slamming extremely loudly shut on a very frequent basis much to the annoyance of all in the proximity. The very stale garlic bread was a disappointment and the mushroom and leak risotto was lacking in taste. The coffee was of a good... More

Never again. This is a usual spot we loved to go for lunch. After making a booking for balcony seats during the week, we arrived today with a window table inside and a very cold greeting. After waiting for about 15 minutes with no service. The manager squashed us on an outside table. We ordered various platters to share. The... More

A friend and I have lunch from time to time, just us the guys. Each time we pick another place. This time he suggested we meet here, never been to the place before, didn't know about it, although I live just 15 minutes down the road. The setting is very nice, the service is good. The food - I got... More

We had a delicious lunch here to celebrate our son's birthday. It is a favourite place for our family as the food is always great, the service is fast and friendly and the view of the bay is unbeatable. This time we were a little disappointed as the waitress was really offhand and it spoiled it a bit. However the... More

After a bit of research on Trip Advisor we decided to treat ourselves to the number 1 restaurant in Frankston. We were staying at the Quest Hotel and it is only a short stroll across the road from the hotel. The restaurant is right on the water and we were seated outside overlooking the beach. Very impressive view and the... More

Was ok. Open steak sandwich needs work .as its precut on sandwich, it kept falling onto table. the decor could be nicer.
