This is a very nice little place literally located in a back alley. It has a very casual and laid back atmosphere. I had the catfish Poboy and my wife had salad with chicken. Both were very good. Prices were reasonable. RECOMMEND

Found this place during our Crawl of Fame, pub crawl. This place is great! Back Alley Diner has plenty of seating, great beer/drink selection. The food is delicious! Sarah was an excellent bartender/server, very personable and accommodating. Great music and hula hoops!!
Went to a restaurant around the corner who were just finishing serving and they sent us to this one. Didn't look great from the outside, but when you go inside you are truly amazed. The food was great, and the girl that served us couldn't...More
Found this place in one of the local publications and decided to try it before a performance at TPAC. The alley walk is a little creepy, but cute casual spot. Food was fine - not great. My friend had the catfish and really liked it....More

Great local bar. Quiet place to have drinks with friends. Great service. Good bar food, although the kitchen closes about 9:30 Have caught some low key live music there. Good place for a relaxing drink.

Our visit was the result of an OpenTable search for restaurants close to us. We were right around the corner at the Courtyard, so I booked a table. Booking proved unnecessary because when we arrived at 5:45 pm on a Wednesday evening, we were one...More
The food was average, nothing to write home about. Hot chicken was hot, but not the best I had while in Nashville. Margs were very sweet. We were here with a big group, my colleague and I ordered the same thing and the waiter thought...More
Came here on a Friday night. Waited forever for ice tea. Ordered the pulled pork plate which must be microwaved because it came out really cold when the onion strings were hot and crispy. We sent it back and they brought out new plates. The...More
