Went on a short date night with my husband because we love to try new foods. We thought everything we tried was fantastic! We actually preferred the vegetarian items over the meat dishes, although everything was very good. Service was on point and professional. Restaurant isn't fancy, but this somehow adds to the ambiance. We will return.

We went here with a group of friends, about 12 of us, and the Gojo took good care of us. The menu is authentic Ethiopian and you can pick you level of heat. There is meat or you can go vegan. The spices are aromatic and wonderful. Try the kitfa or Tikle Gomen. We had a great time. Bring your... More

First and foremost the food here was great tasting. We've looked long and hard to find injera that is just a touch sour which we suspect is more traditional and tasty. Also we always eat vegetarian and always get the vegetarian sampler platter. We loved the Dinich the most, but all the dishes were pretty tasty, flavorful but not overwhelming.... More

I love going here for dinner, such an experience. Allow 2 hours because they make your order from scratch. The bread is naturally gluten free. Also try the coffee ceremony at least once.

This was my first time to eat here. I had the kitfa which I thought was the best dish ( meat wise ). I sampled the lamb wat and found it a bit over cooked for my taste. The beef wat was nice and the lentil sides were very tasty. All in all a good experience.

Very flavorful - not burn your mouth spicy! You can taste layers of flavors! Delicious! Great way to try new food. Portions are perfect! Injera is delightful! Total surprise to find such great Ethiopian food in Nashville! (We live in the SF Bay Area and have had great Ethiopian food both at the home of friends and in local restaurants.... More

I ate here on a Monday evening. The place was empty. The outside of the building was not very appealing, however once you step inside you feel like you are experiencing the true Ethiopian culture. From the scent, to the music and interior design. The food was SO Flavorful. The bread was not my favorite texture wise, But definitely a... More

We usually will go for lunch when we have the time available. I haven't experienced other restaurants which serve Ethiopian but I very much enjoy this place. The looks from the outside might not be super inviting but the food inside is delicious! The buffet has both vegetarian options and meat - usually chicken and beef are options on the... More

I'm no expert when it comes to ethiopian food (this is the only ethiopian place I've eaten), but I'm no stranger to good food and world cuisine. With my little experience, it seemed to me like the vegetables were both under and overcooked. Crunchy chickpeas are nobody's favorite. Service was slow, and it was very difficult to understand the mumbley... More
