I believe that the restaurant is expensive for what you get. Two of use go in there and the bill is more that 20.00 for hamburgers and fries. The orders were incorrect on the last visit.

The menu is extensive and somewhat overwhelming, but I've not been disappointed with anything I've tried. Their burgers are above average and made fresh with fresh toppings, but they seem to cook them all to well-done, even if you request medium. That is the only thing that keeps me from rating them as excellent. It is a local favorite -... More

I saw the rating and I was in the area so I went. The food was good and hit and the service was fast. I enjoyed reading the menu on the wall and figure you could go here 100 times and never have the same thing twice.

I wanted to try The Other Place because of all the great reviews. The place is located in an old strip mall and looks like a dump. I didn't let that scare me off because the food could still be good. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and sweet potato fries and had to wait 45 minutes to get the... More

Very expansive menu, giving you and your friends lots of choices. Recommend the cosmic chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries, the fries come with apple butter dipping sauce-delicious!!

The food was good but not as good as I thought it should be based off recommendations from friends. Large menu is a plus. I have been only 1x. I would give them another chance to wow me, but rarely make it into Oak Ridge.

I was in Oak Ridge area for a wedding in late September 2016. I had lunch at The Other One based on reviews. Orderly process to request and pay for food. Reasonable wait for food. Curly fries quite decadent in grease but good. Also had the gyro. Disappointed in gyro in that the pita split in half almost immediately.

We placed a to-go order on a Saturday afternoon and let them know we were on our way. We arrived and waited exactly an hour for our to-go food. When we arrived home to find one of our items missing, we called and the woman who answered the phone couldn't have cared less. She also explained that when they're on... More

Took some out of state friends to lunch here and we were again impressed with the well prepared food. We had a Gyro, a Ruben and an ORFD Sub (comes with turkey, ham, smoked cheddar, fried jalapeno slices, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and more). We also had a large order of onion rings and three fountain sodas (you fix your... More
