4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

I brought my wife and son to Wilderness at the Smokies and we decided to try The Thirsty Miner. The buffet was 19.99 for each adult. We were seated quickly and the waitress took our drinks orders. We helped ourselves to the buffet which was fresh and plentiful. My favorites were the prime rib and stuffed tenderloin. My wife found... More

Visited the Thirsty Miner three times during a stay at Wilderness at the Smokies. Breakfast was great, dinner was okay. Kids under 8 eat for free which is great, adults were $15.95. My kids loved the view of the water park while we ate.

The food was dried up and not very edible. I believe they have a rule that it's not old till it's sold.

Overpriced empty dinner buffet worst I have ever visited. When I pay $21.95 each for two I expect to be able to have a salad with more toppings than just black olives and dressing, they said they were out of tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, bacon bits, crackers plus a lot of other empty containers. The boiled peel and eat shrimp and... More

The only redeeming thing I found in two trips to this buffet was the cold peel and eat shrimp. Dinner is $20 per adult and luckily kids are free. Breakfast is $15 per adult and again kids are free. The night we had dinner, all of the deserts we hard and had no real flavor. The prime rib was rare,... More

it was all froze and cooked to death. There were fruit flies all over the salad bar tons of empty spots it was not worth the 30.00 per adult that we were charged the staff was friendly and attentive.

The breakfast buffet is good. Went here for dinner and found that the menu was limited. The food was very average.

Buffet was impressive, chicken, bbq ribs, pot roast, salad bar, pizza, pulled bbq, boiled shrimp and 2 types of soup, just to name some of the foods, plus lots of vegetable choices.

The breakfast buffet is average (tastes like powdered eggs, frozen french toast...) and is expensive ($15/person).

Kids eat for free.... yeah, right. The adult meals are so overpriced, that the whole "deal" is a scam. We had 2 adults & 3 kids... our bill was $101. No, that's not a typo... it was one hundred and one dollars. This place had subpar food, for a ridiculous price. We ate here once and were told that they... More
