We had the daily special of meat loaf, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole and green beans. Topped the meal off with blackberry cobbler. We walked along the river after lunch and enjoyed the sounds of the falls.... More

The steaks are exceptional. You can set on the porch and watch water go over the Big Creek Dam. With the chef being from Louisiana the Cajun dishes were fantastic. The Sun special was pot roast, it was excellent with large portions, the catfish meal was also an excellent choice for my... More

We were in town for Heritage Days and found this place, on trip advisor of course, and gave it it a shot. Here is the deal, it's not just one thing that makes this a great place to visit. It's the combination of your the fresh food, the attentive staff, and nature all around you. As others mention the food... More

the staff were friendly and maybe more important they seemed to enjoy each other as co- workers, the environment felt more like family. I was so impressed with the interesting menu and learning some of the history. Plus both of us loved the dinner. It is in a beautiful, quiet setting so stress just melts away. I wish we didn't...
