We spent 8 days in Tennessee, including Nashville and Chattanooga. Our dinner at IvyWild was by far the best meal we had. The restaurant was very attractive, the wine list was varied, with extremely reasonable prices and the servers were attentive and extraordinarily helpful without being obtrusive. However, the star of the show was the varied, extremely delicious food, which... More

We had a delicious dinner at IvyWild. The service was great. The food was delicious and we especially enjoyed the presentation of each dish. A few surprise offerings from the chef made the dinner even more enjoyable. Great place for couples.

This wonderful restaurant has never failed to please in every way and I've eaten here at least three or more times a year the the last four + years when visiting my son in college. The owner and staff is delightful, the chef innovative without being contrived and the atmosphere rather hip since it's housed in old renovated warehouse. Many... More

One of the best filet mignons I've had--and I've had great homemade ones. Delicious pork, grits, and an amazing chocolate fondue-like dessert. We'll be back.

Very limited menu...also very expensive choices. We opted for soup and salad and two cheeses for appetizers. She crab soup was not hot and too fishy tasting. Salad was good. They now have a bar so we didn't have to bring our own wine. Big mistake. This meal had automatic 20percent tip...on which we had to pay tax...plus some sort... More

A wonderful, even romantic, end to our day hiking the Fiery Gizzard Trail, made possible by this outstanding, imaginative chef and professional wait staff. Eager to accommodate vegans; great wine selection; quiet dining room; ample parking; elegant yet cozy venue; delicious water. Our second visit confirmed our impressions from our first. Wish it were in Huntsville.

While visiting family in TN we drove about 40 min. from Flintville to Sewanee. We had not heard of Sewanee or the University of the South before this visit. We're glad we made the trip. We drove through the campus and were amazed at all the beautiful old buildings. It was worth the trip itself and worth another trip just... More

What a gem. Decor is minimalist but staff friendly and knowledgeable. The star her is the food. Dining companion told it was the best steak she had ever had. It was excellent. Ever course was first rate.
