We had the traditional chicken fried steak and burgers (bacon and cheese) and came away very happy. Wait staff was friendly and access very convenient. Our food was served on the :front porch" and it made the people watching very good. Bastrop is a neat town and very Texan. If in Bastrop this is worth a lunch.

Very nice quaint restaurant in Bastrop downtown area. They have inside and outside seating available. The chicken fried steak was excellent and very large! Would have given them a 5 but our frozen deep fried mushrooms were not completely cooked...and they were not that busy! Great service and the waitress was very attentive to our needs.

The food is like something your Grandmother would serve you. Southern comfort food and a good value.the specials each day are very good and usually around $10.00.

We travel a lot and love to hit up the individually owned, unique places. We found a gold mine. Their chicken fried steak was in deed award winning. Server was so sweet and pampering. The front porch dining and live music was a perfect touch. Felt like "mammaw's" touch was in the house.

Probably the best chicken fried Stewart I have ever had. Probably the largest I have ever had too! There was enough meat on the plate to feed a small family plus a very healthy pile of mashed potatoes and green beans to boot! Washed it all down with a delicious blood orange margarita that was sublime! Nice place and friendly... More

We used Trip Advisor of course to find this restaurant. We were a group of 8 hungry and tired Round Top troopers! We waited for a table outside in case we were too loud. It's a great atmosphere inside and out. I ended up ordering Chicken Fried chicken because their Chicken Fried was voted Best of.... I was disappointed as... More

We walked in on steak night (lucky us) and got a NY strip, generous baked potato and salad for under $11. Such a comfortable restaurant, friendly waitstaff.

Fantastic chicken fried steak. Outstanding hamburger and fries. The mashed potatoes were really good. Ample servings. Good service and staff. Small menu, but what they have is fantastic. Also, daily soup specials.

We loved the charm and small town ambiance of Grace Miller's. We sat on the patio, enjoyed our ice cold beers and had a bite to eat. Nothing fancy, but good eats, drink and hospitality! Thank you
