We did go there when it first opened, but it was good but expensive. We would go during football season.

The place is supposed to be a kind of pub with dark wood chairs and bar but actually reminded me of those new, fake pubs of New York City, high ceiling, tubes of air conditioning exposed to the visitor's view... anyway, you will have a good selection (3) of Saint Arnold beer, Elyssa, my favorite was there, others crap american... The restaurant is really nice. If the chef is cooking, the food is delicious. If he is not there, the service and the food is not as good. Service is good--much better in the bar area. The back room is nice for a quiet meeting or personal dinner space. Eating outside was fun as it was a nice night when... More

Because of reviews we had seen on T.A. we decided to give them a try while visiting Bay City. The place was nice. Service was good. The food was GREAT! We sat outside in their courtyard....LOVED the music! Tables could use replacing...lol. I got a "chicken burger" and my husband got a hamburger (can't remember the fancy names) they were... More

The food is very good and also the environment. The attention is also good. Could be crowded on Thursday and weekends.

2nd time I've been here and once again it's the "Bomb". This time I had sourdough bread and a salad before my Meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. My wife ordered fried portabella mushrooms and a Caprese salad. Excellent food across the board, this place is a must eat when in Bay City. Thanks to Cody (aka Marcus )... More

My husband and I had dinner there on a Friday night. Though the restaurant was busy (they even seemed to have a room sectioned off for an event) we still were able to have good service through the night. Our dinner was great. I had the Pork and Grits and it was definitely the best pork chop I ever tasted.... More

Had dinner at the Fat Grass on a Friday night and the establishment was busy, but had good service. Menu prices are varied as are the entrees. I had the fish gumbo and a salad, a lot of food for $14. The waitress was cheerful and very helpful. Made my evening very enjoyable.

We went for a late lunch on a Saturday. One of us got a brunch plate and the other got a Reuben. The Reuben was as good as any I have ever eaten. It had the right proportion of ingredients and was delicious. All the staff were friendly and accomodating. Will definitely go back.

Food was some of the best we have had on a six week road trip. The burgers, soup and sweet potato fries were wonderful and perfectly seasoned. Warm sourdough bread was yummy. The atmosphere and service were outstanding. Eat here!
