The Gin Burger and Mahi-Mahi Tacos were excellent, service was great, and the area around the restaurant is very interesting and fun.

My family and I were in the area for the state archery tournament and looked up a local place to eat. We came across The Gin. Service: -No wait for a table. -Excellent service! -Since my niece participated in the tournament and did well, the manager offered a complimentary dessert--very thoughtful! Atmosphere: -indoor/outdoor seating -accommodates small and large parties -farmhouse... More

Very rustic place right in quiet downtown. Large areas for seating and patio seating available. Patio has a nice view of the river. Food is quite good. Chicken fried steak was good. Not an oversize Texas fill your plate size but a good portion for 1 person. Nice salad and the garlic mashed potatoes were good. Huge club sandwich was... More

The food is very good and it has a pretty view of the creek. In the summer you can watch families having fun in the water.

Even though it was an ugly day of rain my family and I had once again an awesome lunch at The Gin today!! The atmosphere at the Gin is very welcoming. And the attention that our family receives from the staff and management is most comforting to us. The children's chicken strips were excellent because they both made happy plates... More
