Steve's offers good food made with fresh ingredients. The fare consists of salads, sandwiches, soups and other good stuff. Check out the menu but I believe they may be closed on Mondays.

Steve's is our families restaurant of choice in all of Brownwood. It is open only for lunch but they make incredible soups, sandwiches and the best Saffron rice with black beans! It's small so get there early or just enjoy the wait. No credit cards just cash and checks. You'll feel like your dining in Austin or maybe even Colorado!!... More

Call ahead for carry out or go early. Downtown, limited seating excellent food. Not your ordinary sandwich shop. A local treasure. Very popular

I have been here twice on road trips out West and both times super pleased with the food and ambience. The cozy little restaurant in Downtown Brownwood is total eye candy. It is like being served right from someone's home kitchen and getting to look at all their crazy collections. I especially encourage you to check out the restroom and... More

Our sandwiches were good and the soup was excellent. The frozen cappuccino was like a milk shake. Yummy. The prices are a little high. FYI they ONLY take cash or checks.

Thank Mjaj2
