This was a good stop for a lunch while on the road. The restaurant is clean, the service very good and the food tasty.

We eat here every couple of months when we're in the area and the food is consistently good and the service is excellent. The menu offers standard favorites as well as unique items. Nothing is ho-hum, the chef adds something to each dish.

Hello, I am sorry that your BLT was not to your liking. It is one of our most popular sandwiches. I can only assume that the bacon was over cooked. I buy higher quality apple smoked bacon so it should not have been the bacon...More

The food was okay, not great, but good, and the restaurant is quaintly / tastefully decorated. Small town friendly.

We stopped for lunch on our way to Austin. The daily special was stew and it was very good. My wife had a cheeseburger that was pretty good. Our only complaint are the fries, which were just frozen fries and not homemade. Nice homey restaurant...More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it's conveniently located on the Burnet town square. It's large and open inside and got fairly full on a summer weekend for lunch. The staff was nice and while we waited a little long for initial service,...More

Description
We are located in the Historic Town Square in Burnet, Texas. Built in the late 1890's, we have maintained a lot of the integrity of the original building by keeping the tin ceilings and using the original wood in some of our architectural renovations.
