If you're into watery, tasteless, bland salsa, then Los Cucos is the place for you. But, if you want salsa that actually has flavor, and you ask for flavorful salsa, then you'll pay $3 extra (unexpectedly) for a small (couple of spoons worth). With hundreds of Mexican restaurants in the Byran/College Station, Texas area, make Los Cucos your last choice.... More

Absolutely no complaints about the service! Our server was very friendly and attentive. The rice and beans were amazing! The fajitas weren't my favorite I felt the fajitas lacked flavor and the tortillas aren't the best. My husband loved the enchiladas as well. Would definitely go again.

I got a tamale and a fajita burrito off the A La Carte menu, it would have been filling to order one or the other and both were delicious. The tamale was particularly tasty, I was actually impressed. They put Spanish cheese and cilantro on top and that added a lot to the flavor. The fajita burrito were just prices... More

The 2 pts is for the queso only which to me had too much cilantro. My family that ordered fajitas got a hot skillet of fajitas and all of the meat, veggies, and rice were stuck to the bottom of the platter. The rice was beyond black and the waiter could have cared less. He said, "well, it's a hot... More

Every time we are in South Texas we find a Los Cucos to eat at. Today we were visiting Texas A&M and stopped in for a late lunch. The food was good, not the best we have ever had at this chain but still very enjoyable. The green avocado salsa is the best and the main reason we go. The... More

We've been to several Los Cucos, and this is as good as the others-- *super* fresh food, excellent service (we stayed for a couple of hours, and still a smile with the 5th cup of coffee!), and really clean. Only wish the chile had been spicier!

We were in town for a tournament and called a week ahead to make reservations for a large group. When we arrived, the service was lacking. I asked for a drink, which I never received. Our orders were taken quickly but it took about 2 hours for the food to come out. Additionally, my son never received his food during... More

We enjoyed a delicious meal here. The service was fantastic. Samantha was our waiter. And Guiellmo was very funny and helpful. I tried the fried avacado. Different however delicious. The chips and sausa was good too. I was not disappointed.

I thought that being in Texas, the Mexican food would be top-notch. In this case, I was terribly mistaken. The margaritas tasted more like water and tequila than a margarita. I ordered the tacos, and they were not really good. The marinade for the steak was overwhelming. The rice was gummy, and the refried beans tasted like they'd been sitting... More
