I have been eating Sushi and Sashimi for many years and comparing to all sushi/sashimi restaurants in Dallas metroplex Blue Fish is the best . They have the best services and freshest fishes. Their sashimi are almost comparable to the authentically prepared sashimi you get...More

If you don't want to walk, use the Valet service. Otherwise this is located close to a neighborhood and I am sure a homeowner won't mind you parking by their house. The food was delicious and decently prices. I ordered off of the happy hour...More

This is our 'go to" place when we visit Dallas for sushi. The atmosphere is a little loud during the busiest times but the food is excellent. The patio is large and great during warm weather. The sushi bar is also a great place to...More

Little strange menu with 'small plates' taking up a section, maybe due to SMU college student preferences? There were four of us and we had to wait a considerable time for some of the dishes and drinks and drink refills, service was not good. Some...More

You don't have to be a sushi lover to love Blue Fish. They have many other choices on their menu besides sushi, although the sushi was excellent. This place can have a huge SMU presence so it can be a little loud both inside and...More

The food is over-the-top fresh and good! The presentation is excellent and the wait staff is very knowledgeable about pretty much every item on the menu. The only draw-back was that it was so loud in the restaurant that it was hard to here the...More

It took me more than a year to find out. They in fact do, but you have to travel around the world finding clues and solving various physical puzzles to crack the code, and then they will let give some to you. Trust me, I... More

...The opposite of a quiet, intimate sushi bar, the Blue Fish is enormous, loud, stylish and good. Where else can you find a signature roll called El Cubano ($9.50)? It's spicy pork, jalapeno, cilantro, Jalapeno pepper and carrots, with a sweet and spicy sauce. What's most refreshing here is that the menu is all Japanese -- no Thai food to confuse the palate. Live specials such as Spanish mackarel, Sea Urchin, Live Hottate(scallop), Black Bass, mirugai (giant clam) and much more.Order the Ahi Tower to see just how well the kitchen can plate. It's tuna tartar and sesame oil over snow crab and avocado salad on a bed of wasabi infused rice. It's almost tragic to watch the server destroy this architectural marvel table-side to make it easier to eat. The "cake" portion of spicy tuna on crispy rice cakes in uzu and garlic sauce.
