Everything was excellent. We had planned all day on going to SER at our Hilton Hotel. We disappointed to find a "temporarily closed" sign in the hallway as we preparing to head up for dinner. So change of course, I searched trusty Travel Advisor and came across Meddlesome Moth and was excited about the food choices. The others had suggested... More

Every time I visit Dallas I go to this restaurant. It has never failed to thrill me. This time I had the forest mushroom farro and the roasted chicken. The farro was nutty and tasty, huge portion - came with an assortment of gourmet mushrooms and sauteed kale. Delicious. Enough for a meal on its own. I also had a... More

Freshness is the one word I would use to describe this restaurant! One of their specialties is a huge selection of beer, which we did not try. We had mixed drinks and those were delicious. The menu has something for everyone - fish, fowl, exotics, beef, shellfish, etc. The vegetables are from local farms, listed on the menu, and very... More

I'm being optimistic with the average rating. It's likely too high. We had heard good things about Meddlesome Moth and were excited to have the opportunity to visit. We were there for early Saturday night dinner. It was not busy. I'm not sure if it was because of the time or if business had dropped off. The first bad impression... More

I have been wanting to try this location for months and finally had the opportunity this past weekend. We made reservations for brunch and were greeted by the cute hostesses when we walked in. The interior was really nice - the bar area, the stained glass, the patio - very impressive. The noise level was energetic as the place was... More

We enjoyed trying several new and interesting dishes and enjoyed them all. The Pig and Fig dish was particularly good, but everything was delicious. The menu lists beer selections for every dish--a nice touch. They also have wines by the glass. Our server was gracious in helping us figure out how much to order so that we'd have enough without... Great Sunday brunch at this gastropub in the design district. Inventive and interesting menu, cool décor, superb waitstaff. Family friendly and with extensive drink menu. Highly recommended!

I will definitely be returning to sample more greatness! We had a group of five and we're able to reserve dinner the same night we called. From the outside it looks like a small hole in the wall, but indoors was quite spacious and there is a covered patio with additional seating. We opted to allow our waiter to select... More

Really enjoyed brunch today! Love the Mother and child dish. The fried chicken was tender and moist. The grits and poached eggs were cooked just right and jalepeno sauce really topped it off! We also had the mussels with chorizo was absolutely delicious with plenty of bread to dip the sauce! Will definitely return the next time we're in Dallas!

The combination of previous reviews, eclectic menu and photo's prompted me to check out the Moth. It is located in the designer district which is off the beaten path for an out of towner. Cool decor and good food. Be sure to see the stained glass tributes to Elvis, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis.
