Heard this was the best restaurant in Dallas, but I think that's basically due to the fact that you have to plan a month ahead to get a table. The food is good, and beautifully presented. We had the butter lettuce salad, which was fabulous, with a very nice dressing. One of the appetizers has some of their in-house cured... More

Just a heads up, if you really want to eat here then get a reservation. It is a very small place that sits MAYBE 20-25 at the most. This isn't a place for picky eaters. It's also pretty pricey if you want anything bigger than a baby portion of food. I loved the bread and butter you get but everything... More

This is a find in Dallas arts district, right next to the Dude Sweet Chocolate shop (which is also wonderful). The menu changes all the time and the ingredients are seasonally fresh and lovingly prepared. The pasta dishes, especially, are our of this world. Everything we had was stellar. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and they really know... More

Went to Lucia last night with 2 friends. We had no idea you need to book way in advance and got lucky with seats at the counter. While it is pricey and the portions are small, that's typically European. The food was melt in your mouth good. I tried to get another reso halfway through my meal because I couldn't... More

... dinner experiences I had in Dallas. I was there four times over the length of my assignment (10 months) and was pleasantly surprised. Small, less than 40 covers, personable, and nicely served. Small but strong wine list and the food is fine dining. I understand why they can book reservations a month in advance... but you can get a... More

Our food, service, the atmosphere; everything was more than we expected!! Alex was our server and did an incredible job not only serving us, but with the descriptions of all of the dishes. I had heard about Lucia thru a gal that i met on a plane. We had been trying to get there forever, and it just never worked... More

I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is among the more unique spots in Dallas. The service is attentive but not aggressive. Make sure to get a reservation far in advance if you know you'll be in town. It needs to be done far in advance because of the small... More

I was sitting down to dinner last minute with a girlfriend of mine. I was expecting complete Italian cuisine as the menu wasn't very big and not much to chose from. Everything seemed to be Italian but with an American style flare. Cream corn and others are good but not true Italian. For the price I was not impressed at... More

Went to Lucia last night and had another great meal, however, there seems to be a slipping from previous times. The starter courses were as usual just awesome, but the mains were a bit disappointing this time. The corn salad was superb, really surprised us and the pasta and gnocchi dishes were very tasty. We ordered the octopus and hanger... More

We went here for our anniversary and found it to be a wonderful place. It has a beautifully romantic feel to it although it is not the quietest place. It has the feel and experience of what you see in real Italian restaurants on those travel shows. The food is stellar. It is honestly the best Italian we have ever... More
