We Ate here again this year while visiting Dallas. My son always orders sushi. I loved the venison entree while my husband also enjoyed his lamb tenderloin choice. They also have a selection of prime steaks, with prices to match, and a number of sides generous enough for several to share. "Small plates" are also on the menu, so there... More

This is the place to go for fine dining in Dallas. The food is very very good and the place is simply beautiful. Very good for special occasions or just a nice night out for dinner. The place is actuay not as expensive as one would expect either, unless you order a bottle of champagne or something like that. Do... More

My companion and I dined here. He'd made a reservation and we were promptly shown to a table, a quiet booth. The waiter was attentive but not annoying. We first tried their famous cocktails, then two appetizers, an entree and dessert. The pace was absolutely perfect. Each selection arrived at the perfect time, so we never felt rushed. the atmosphere... More

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. It's always excellent. The lobster shooters are the best.

In Celebration of my birthday I was surprised when we drove up to Abacus. My last dining experience there left me puzzled that on their website nothing alerted me to the fact that a tasting menu could only be obtained Mon – Thurs. I see that now the website has been updated to include this information. But I have digressed,... More

Attended with co-workers to celebrate a work anniversary milestone. Arrived early and went to the bar first. Waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings. Even brought over a wine for one of our party to taste just based on our discussion. Main dining experience was great. Bread basket was cool. Had the lobster shooters, steak and the Brussel... More

We were here in a business dinner and enjoyed it quite a bit. The menu is quite creative and unique and all food was excellent. The gnocchi was fantastic, others in our group had the duck, salmon and fillet. Wine list expansive and cocktails were well done Give Abacus a try!

We tried the "Chef's tasting menu" which is a 5 course meal for $65. The salmon and cheesy focaccia bread was excellent. Also, the Kale/Spinach side was quite good. But after that, the Tuna was a bit chewy as well as the lamb. The beef tenderloin was more chewy, close to rubbery. The sauces were meh... and desert was ok.... More

The room and lighting were perfect as was our table.Waiter tried hard but he was difficult to understand. He seemed to mumble rather than project. But food was outstanding! The duck (roasted maple leaf farms, venison (hickory grilled pine nut crusted entree) and lobster (chilled butter poached appetizer) were all delicious and beautifully plated. Our Saldo zinfandel was a fitting... More
