It is REALLY hard to find good Italian food in Texas. I'm from New England and there is great Italian food everywhere in Boston and new York but here in Texas, well... I lived in Ravenna Italy so I know my Italian food and this is some of the best I have had in Texas. The pasta was cooked perfectly... More

Small and quaint with a great atmosphere. Went during the busy holiday weekend but was well attended by our server and food was on point. Everything we ordered was delicious!

Went for lunch. Had salad with chicken. Chicken was very dry..almost unedible. Service was poor. Had to keep asking for items which some were never brought for example sliced lemon for water. For the price, you would expect better service and quality of food.

Good food, cute place, and special wait service! Nice atmosphere even though it was very busy at noon on a Sunday!

My wife and I were "craving" spaghetti carbonara and I googled "best in Dallas". It turned out great! We will definitely be returning to Taverna!

Recently ate here for brunch and had such a good time. The wait wasn't too long, the service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Add $2 mimosas on top of that and it's a perfect brunch spot. Will definitely return the next time I'm in town.

Very quaint place to dine. The service was superb. We were taking our time, and never once did we feel rushed. The roasted veggies were perfect. Arugula salad was good as was the shrimp scampi. Next time, pizza and risotto!

Loved eating outside! We didn't have reservations (and you probably should) but we were seated outside within 10 minutes. The bruschetta was delicious for our first course. They have an extensive list of risotto options, and I selected the prosciutto. Very good, not too heavy. My husband had the seafood special, and truly enjoyed the freshness of the dish. We... More

I enjoy the patio very much, but would probably come here for appetizers and drinks rather than Italian-American food. For that I would go down the street to Villa O, Vincenzo, the chef there, is excellent. I came here two different times recently, and while the first time the food was outstanding, most recently it was quite subpar. My seafood... More

Visiting the city for the weekend and this is a true gem. $2 mimosas were awesome. The salmon eggs benedict was amazing! And all plates that passed by looked great too.
