Most of it is fried and salty. If that's not your thing, go somewhere else. Otherwise, my crawfish tacos were great

I don't know what happen to this restaurant but my first visit the food was wonderful this time it was just awful and so was our waiter Sale. She brought our salad with 2 over ripe tomatoes that anyone else would have insisted the chef or cook whomever was prepping in the kitchen remove immediately. If you have no other... More

Dani Rae's is probably the best Cajun in Denton. Just don't go there expecting New Orleans and you'll be fine. The service is okay, not the friendliest but attentive enough. And the food was not bad. The favorite at our table was the Pasta MardiGras ($13.95) that followed an appetizer of fried mushrooms which we will order again on our... More

I visited this restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere is nothing special but if you are here for the food you won't be disappointed. Gumbo etoufee jambalaya are all good. I've lived in New Orleans and am comparing to those restaurants. Appetizers were also good, especially oysters. The service is excellent. Definitely worth a visit. I look forward to returning.

South Louisiana basics served here: fried, broiled, platters, poboys . . . All very good. Served by experienced waitstaff. There's nothing to not like about Dani Rae's if your looking for fresh seafood in North Texas. They also have a fully stocked bar and bartenders that pour heavy. I'm a fan of their Bloody Mary's.

Dani RAe's has a good variety of food and the waiters are all very nice. I had the all you can eat catfish and it was really cooked well - if you are a catfish lover you've got to try it here.

I have dined at Dani Rae's quite a few times since discovering that they offer Cioppino, one of my seafood favorites. I have been very satisfied on virtually every visit, although they do have a habit of sending out some dead mussels (unopened) that is a bit disconcerting although they always provide replacements when I let them know. However, on... More

Came here for dinner with friends not quite knowing what this Cajun experience would be. Menu is quite extensive with Cajun food of course but also many fish dishes that were not spicy and really good. I had a shrimp cocktail that was generous and outstanding quality. My red snapper was a generous portion cooked perfectly and had a big... More

Wanted to try a new place, so glad we did. Hubby got the blackened red snapper plate, I the seafood combo of crawfish and coconut shrimp with grilled veggies. Excellent service, great taste will be back
