Always stop at Praseks when traveling through the area. I had a chopped beef sandwich that was a little too salty but still pretty good and my wife had a chicken plate that was very good and the kids had pulled pork that was excellent.
Love stopping here every trip we take to Houston. besides the fresh meat counter and abundance of Jerky, they also have great BBQ and one hell of a Ruben sandwich.

Thought we would stop here on the way to Houston instead of the usual Buccees stop. It's beautiful and smells amazing and staff was very nice and helpful. You can find anything to satisfy but the prices are almost double, especially wine.
