I tried the cabrito, which was very tender and tasty, with a good amount of spice. My date had the red, white and green enchiladas and she enjoyed them considerably. There was plenty of food in each dish, enough that we could not finish each plate. The margaritas on the rocks were heavy on the mix.

Had an enchilada plate, and while it was ordered without "refried beans", I got 'em. The guests I was with knew the proprietors of the small restaurant and everyone was treated nice. Nothing special but a decent meal.

We looked for something different to eat, didn't want some chain restaurant, and we found it!! The food was great and the service was outstanding! If you are in the area for lunch or dinner, I highly recommend this place!!

Muy Delicioso! I love the vibe and the owner is a sweet lady. I had the Puntas Rancheras and man was it wonderful. Fresh ingredients. Good quality meat. The flavor on the sauce was outstanding. Very authentic. Takes me back to Mexico city. The decor is nice. Service is responsive. They live up to their rating on Zagat. Will definitely... More

Ok, I love this place for two reasons: The puntas ranchero is the best I've been able to find anywhere and the salsa (both red and green) are awesome.

In this age of fast food TEX MEX is great to find a non-chain Mexican restaurant that serves a wide variety of foods and authentic style. The food is excellent and can be enhanced with the proper spirit or beer to go with it.

Nuevo Leon is located in the heart of Farmers Branch. I've been going with teachers for several years but decided to take my family on my birthday before seeing the fireworks. We enjoyed fajitas and three different kinds of enchiladas. I love the oil paintings hanging on the wall of Frieda a famous artist. We all had great service.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I was here for a networking mixer. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The appetizers & drinks were really good. We had Chile Con Queso made with white cheese, Taquitos De Camaron and Nachos De Mariscos. Great place to eat and meet friends.

$6.99 for two tacos, beans and rice. Food was serve quickly and hot, under 15 mins. Tacos did not come with sour cream and was charged for it 😒. Only one server with 10 tables, refills were slower than normal. Overall, good experience. I would return for a different choice plate.

This place was quite excellent. It had the best tortilla soup I've ever had. The bean soup was great. Service was also excellent. My only complaint was that it was a little pricey.
