A very nice lady at the hotel recommended Sagebrush and that seemed good enough for us. It has some age on it and seemed to be popular with the locals. There were a few other travelers there. I felt a little sorry for the waitresses. They were doing the best the could, but the food took a really long time.... More

Cheese sticks were amazing, burger was fresh and the fries were crispy. Breakfast sandwich was good and the chicken fried steak was also a good choice. The breakfast was excellent, only complaint is the small amount of ham that came with the breakfast. Water tastes dirty but the tea was okay.

The waitress was most charming but the food was poor. Fried, fried and fried... Hush puppies were ancient, the hamburger steak had a wierd italian sauce, chicken fried steak was tough... a very poor meal... This is a one horse town... so hence a line of folks at the dorr trying to get in..

We stopped here on our way to Big Bend for a family vacation. Not knowing anything about Ft. Stockton, we had to go by the reviews and what we were craving at the time. It has been recently renovated and looks like even added on a dining room section. The decor was nice and inviting. My husband and I both... More

We stopped here for a light lunch on our way through to San Antonio. The restaurant was busy but the service was extraordinarily slow. We ordered a side salad and it arrived at the same time our burger arrived. The salad was basic yet adequate. The bun on the burger had a nice texture with a slight sweet taste but... More

The food was great! One of us had the best chicken fried steak ever. The other had their signature salad with Cajun seasoning and homemade taco shell. If we were going to be back in the area, we'd definitely be coming back.

We had the small breakfast for 5.99. Right up our alley for seniors on a budget. Food and coffee were lukewarm. Mediocre food but worked for us. Clean and good service.

We went to this restaurant while traveling though Fort Stockton. Maybe we order wrong, but it was not at all good food. The service was good but the food needs help. We did not go again while passing through. This is a family restaurant and kinda old and funky. But, the locals may like it well enough. There are not... More

This was quite possibly the worst restaurant of our trip! The food was just not good. It was bland and served without much fanfare. My teenager would not even eat his chicken strips that were overcooked and rubbery. We ordered an assortment of food, so I'm not sure that any of the dishes are good. Another downside that we didn't... More
