Growing up in sunny Florida and now living in N. Texas - I miss authentic seafood places like this. Let's start with FF has a great old school diner vibe with fishing pictures and Big Mouth Billy Bass'ss'ss all over the walls - thanking most...More

This is my favorite place to eat. I tried something different the other day, Mexican Cocktail, it was delicious. I normally eat fried shrimp (the best) and I have not had any bad food at this place. It is a must try and you will...More

Decided to go on a Saturday night after an event, parking lot was full and they were busy - but efficient! We ordered after a reasonable wait in line. Food was fresh and tasty. I had grits and gumbo - Yum! Schooner was frosty and...More

We eat here about once every couple of months. The boiled platters are fabulous. Ask for "without final pepper" if you aren't ready for some serious heat. The fried choices are better than the average chain place, definitely. Never over cooked and fresh. I love...More

Really cool atmosphere and great food. Walk up to the counter and order from a huge selection of food. I had the grilled Snapper made Snappy which made it was a little spicier. Love that fresh spinach and zucchini and the hush puppies. One of...More

My husband grew up on the coast and did not want to enter this restaurant -- don't be persuaded by the outside. The inside is new, exceptionally clean, and perfectly decorated as a fish lovers/fisherman's paradise. The food was reasonable, fresh, very delicious, and great...More

Solid choice for good seafood. Fried foods and grilled specials are all good. Bacon wrapped jalapeno is a great starter and offers several good desert choices as well. Beer is available and has patio seating as well.

The outside is pretty non-descript and I drove right past it. The inside is a sort of 50's theme, but very cute. The restaurant is clean. You walk up and what is available is on a large board above the registers. The employees were very...More

What's the hype ? I had a shrimp Po'Boy- sloppily made on burnt bread. Ordered new potatoes- they were served room temperature & I had to cut rotten spots off about 1/4 of them. Everyone's potatoes were served warm. Another in the party ordered 6...More

Two places, over the counter on a white board and and a pamphlet. I Have had catfish twice this week Catfish Plaantation in Waxahachie and JW'S Steakhouse in Carmine Tx. Both places put Flying Fish to shame.

I have no idea, but obviously fried foods do have a higher calorie count as opposed to grilled or baked. Unless you are on a strict diet, treat yourself this once.
