Excellent TexMex food, good price and plenty of food. Great customer service! I hesitate to write a review since our family has kept it a secret for years! Enjoy!

The is a favorite for our family. All food home made from scratch. Worth the trip anytime. Near the stock yards. Behind the courthouse off of Main street.

Rice was good, beans ok. Other than that, I've never had a good meal there. Cold, bland salsa. Queso not worth buying at all. Chili relleno was ok. A friend always wants to go there when we are in the area, so I keep trying. I will insist on Mercado Juarez next time!

This is our second visit to this restaurant and we will be back! Some of the best Mexican food we"ve had in a long time.

If you're looking for basic Tex mex this place will do. None of that interior Mexican food. The chips were warm and crisp. I would have liked s little more heat in the salsa but that's me. I ordered a cheese enchilada and a beef enchilada. It was accompanied by huge potions of refried beans and Mexican rice. My husband... More

Ordered and picked up lunch for clients. Ordered 4 meals and 4 bowls of queso. Assumed it would be in the $70 range. Nope, $112. They do not serve lunch on take out, dinner pricing only. Quite frankly, there is not enough of a difference between lunch $10 and $16 dinner to warrant the $6 difference. They charged me for... More

We chose this restaurant since so many of our other choices were closed on a Tuesday night. The chips were home-made and were light and delicious. The rest of the food tasted like standard Tex-mex. The frozen margaritas were very bland. We had the strawberry and the lime...neither one was good. I drove by Joe T. Garcias when we finished.... More

I have been coming to this place for 35 years and the family that owns it has always tried and succeeded to deliver good quality meals that are simple at very good prices. The building is old and they sometimes struggle to keep the décor fancy, but I think that is what I have always loved about this place.

This is another Fort Worth signature Mexican restaurant that has been around for years. They've been here so long because their food is first rate. They serve some of the best Enchiladas and Nachos I've ever eaten. This place is good for single diners and large groups. Prices are very reasonable too. It's worth your time to drive up North... Closes at 9. We were driving from out of town (2.5 hours away) and were doing our best to get there by 8 knowing it closes at 9. We got in some horrendous traffic and showed up at 8:25. They saw us pull up and locked the door....Locked it right in front of me, my husband, and two small children... More
