This is definitely in my Top 5 for non -thai restaurants in DFW. I am a regular there along with my sister and the staff thete are so kind and helpful. The food is always fantastic. I mean, this is the ONLY place i will eat okra and I abhor okra. Usually I get the vegetable cous cous or vegetable... More

Three friends met for lunch today at King Tut. It was the first time for all of us. Lunch was just $8.95 with great healthy options including vegetarian selections. Our meal came with a side salad at no additional charge and our service was friendly and swift. I had chicken shawarma, and although I have ordered the same dish at... More

My best friend created a 30 before 30 list of new things she has a year to do. She added try a foreign cuisine to her list and wanted me to try with her. Enter: King Tut. As soon as I walked in, I was drawn into the decor. I love it. I have a mild obsession with the Pyramids... More

I used to live in Fort Worth and would eat here ALOT. Now that I don't live here anymore, I eat here whenever I am in town. My favorite thing on the menu is the Eggplant Dip. I usually get the small mazza plate as my meal and get the eggplant dip, cucumber dip, vegetable samosas, and olives/feta. So freaking... More

King Tut is a bit of a drive for us, so we don't get there really often, but every time we go, we absolutely love it. It has a friendly, informal atmosphere. I highly recommend the maza plate, which allows you to try several appetizers. I've had them all, and they are all good, but I usually go for the... More

Most of us (4) had never had Egytian food. The lunch special of Chicken Schwarma was delicious. Two of us had it and although we didn't realize it came with a salad it was absolutely delicious! The lettuce was shredded so that it looked almost like Easter grass. The oil and vinegar dressing was outstanding! One of the diners can't... More

We enjoyed chicken shawarma at lunch. Generous serving of small bites of tender chicken severed over rice plus tasty green salad. The shawarma was rather bland and greatly helped by the peanut sauce, served on the side. If you like peanut sauce, ask for an extra serving.
