The wife and I stopped in the other day for lunch. We ordered one basket with 2 cod and 5 shrimp; in addition we got the fried mushrooms and zucchini. This was enough for two and we couldn't finish it all. The cod and shrimp had a light crisp batter with no oil taste. The cod was flaky and moist.... More

I stopped at Zeke's today to pick up lunch after an appointment. This was my first time there. Staff at counter were very friendly and explained their menu. I had 2 cod fillets, hush puppies, breaded zucchini, and corn fritters. The cod fillets were very large and very good. Mine were slightly over cooked but still really good. The zucchini... More

I am not a huge fish fan but my husband is Zeke's is the perfect place for both of us to get our meal. I love the Cod. The batter is crispy and light. The fish is flaky and doesn't have that fishy taste that I always find of putting. My husband got the catfish which was pretty darn good... More

Best fish and chips North, South, East and West of the Pecos! Seriously, get the best Cod, Catfish, Hush Puppies...even Fish Tacos!! There is a delightfully tasty reason this place has been serving Fort Worth for 45 years. Enjoy!

I like the cod. Sometimes a bit greasy but always good. I love the fried corn. Everything is made fresh as it is ordered. Nostalgic decorations.

I started eating at Zeke's in 1971, the year it opened. I marveled at the fried cod (in it's proprietary, secret batter). Fried okra, mushrooms, and squash were (and still are) wonderful sides. The food is excellent (don't be put off by the fried part--it's never greasy) and Zeke's still retains it's funky early-70's vibe, including the background sound of... More

Always delicious. Had to deduct 1 star, since (1) there is no craft beer available, and (2) the cod is not sourced sustainably. Aside from that... everything about this place screams deliciousness and service at reasonable prices.

Still the best cod and veggies around. We have been coming since the 70s Menu has been expanded but we still order the same. The veggies and cod are the best. Mark allows no substitutions

While waiting for my car to get washed I spotted Zeke's from across the street. I could tell immediately the fish would be excellent. And it was! Bottomless hush puppies, two giant pieces of extremely fresh, piping hot cod, hand cut fries, and cornmeal battered FRESH zucchini. Service was excellent! Plenty of food for two people! The employees were super... More

Four guys ate here and were all satisfied. Our fried catfish afficianado was totally satisfied. Two had the fried cod plates with French fries and pups and felt the cod had to be freshest and best breaded of any we've had in the area. The shrimp gumbo was enjoyed by several and the clam chowder was also good.
