Closed sign on door on Monday, 6/18. this website states :open 7 days", We went accordingly. Disappointed, but won't try AGAIN. We went across the street and had a nice German meal there.

We liked this place well enough to go back for lunch the next day, the red cabbage is perfect flavor :-)

I felt the German dish was very good, but perhaps not what I had hoped for. Service was off. Handed off from one server to another, and things got lost in the change.

We wanted to eat German Food because we were in Fredericksburg. This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel and it was wonderful. It is small and you have to wait in line, but it was worth it. Lots of schnitzels and other dishes.

First night in Fredericksburg and I wanted German food. Decided on Der Lindenbaum. We were sat right away. And brought water in a plastic cup. Napkins were paper. But the prices for the food were very high and honestly for those types of prices I...More

My wife and I went in here on a Monday evening and they were not busy at all. She ordered something called Schweinekotelett which was pork chops in a mustard sauce. It was a fairly uninspired recipe with very little seasoning. The gravy or sauce...More

The website states: "Open 7 Days A Week from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm." However, I suggest calling them on the phone.

I'm not sure if they take reservations. It would be a good idea to call the restaurant and ask them, especially as it is a holiday weekend. If you're going to stay overnight or longer, I'd recommend the Best Western there... More
