Excellent, higher end dining in Fredericksburg, and a great place to dine on Monday (when a lot of other restaurants are closed). Wait staff was friendly, efficient and very helpful. Food was excellent - from the gumbo (using a real roux, not faked), to the lamb bolognese to the steak frites. The dessert was a strawberry buckle, and also very... More

After an awful experience at a local 'authentic German' restaurant, we stopped here at the recommendation of the place where we were staying. Glad we took their advice. The fried avocado salad was a new avocado experience and turned out to be quite nice. We also had the smoked chicken, lamb bolognese and pork chops - each was done as... More

Let me start by saying that my husband and I really enjoyed the food at Navajo Grill, and based on that alone I would have given it 4 or 5 stars. However, the atmosphere is really lacking. I love Fredericksburg, and this restaurant just doesn't "feel" like Fredericksburg to me. It's a little too quiet and just ho-hum as far... More

Spouse and I had a couple issues here. We were there just when it opened for dinner, so we were one of three occupied tables. Now we liked the atmosphere, and initially felt like this could be a regular. Also has a small courtyard with full bar, but not for outside dining. Menu is upscale and pricey, and the waitstaff... My girlfriend ate here last weekend and really enjoyed the food. This Saturday night, there was a private party going on outside, and the only thing I can think of is that they had limited the reservations they scheduled, because the dinning room was very quiet and only had about three other couples. My girlfriend has special dietary needs which... More

Food is amazing; wait staff courteous and efficient. Atmosphere is subdued; sitting outside in nice weather is a joy! The filet was cooked to perfection. Call ahead to check for private parties or reservations on weekends.

Sat on the patio and took in the quiet and scenery. Service and food were good. Not many appetizers to choose from, but bread and butter were good. Try their specialty drinks, they shouldn't disappoint.

Another terrific place to eat in Fredericksburg. High end service and food. Our waiter, Sean, was excellent and very knowledgeable about foods to avoid for a gluten-free person. Lovely outdoor covered patio. We had an evening meal that was quite romantic. Good margarita and good sangria. Desserts were delightful as well.

Probably one of the better places in Fredericksburg. Enjoyed a wide wine selection that was reasonably priced. Had crab cakes and mixed grille and both were good. I will go back again.

The first time we came to Navajo Grill I had a wonderful fish main course! It was a nice experience. But this time I did not enjoy it. It took forever to receive my drink and finally when it did come by the. I really didn't want it. And after I tasted it I definitely didn't want it. And then... More
