We only eaten here once but we were not impressed. The food is ok but the noise level is so high that the experience was not pleasant. The ambiance is nice and the staff was friendly.

I was looking for a something different this past valentine's to help me celebrate a very special 20th anniversary Valentine's Day with my wife. It was 20 years ago I proposed to here and while I could not replicate that weekend 20 years ago this was the next best thing! One specific criteria was BYOB and I went off of... More

It had been a number of years since we've had dinner at Giovanni's, so we decided to meet two other couples there for dinner. As previuosly, we brought a nice bottle of Reisling with us and our friends brought wine too. To help keep the dinner costs down, Giovanni's is a BYOB restaurant. The place was not very crowded on... We love this little place. It has a very relaxed atmosphere of a local Italian eatery that you may find in one of the boroughs of New York. No frills, but that kind of adds to the character. Italian-American crooners will be singing in the background, again giving the little place its own kind of charm. Food is great and... More

Was out of the country for 3 weeks and didn't make any reservations early enough. Friend suggested we try this place as it was a "hidden gem" that we'd probably be able to get into. My wife and son picked me up from the airport and we arrived around 6:30 and got right in. Server was pleasant and we ordered... More

It is BYOB, which is awesome!! The prices are incredible and the food is the best you will ever eat!!! I have eaten here multiple times and tried almost everything on the menu and never had a bad experience! The lasagna is my favorite, probably followed by the manicotti! I live in Frisco and anyone that ever comes to visit... More

Good food, non chain restaurant. Bathroom is in desperate need of cleaning. Employees could do this while standing around talking to each other.

We stopped in here on a Saturday night just before they closed. Didn't realize it was BYOB until we sat down and tried to order wine. The waiter suggested a store about a block away that sold wine so i ran and grabbed a bottle. He was waiting with glasses and a bottle opener. The food was good, I had... More

The best thing about Giovanni's is BYOB. The food is decent, nothing to write home about, but they'll accommodate large groups easily and it's nice on the wallet.
