Freshest shrimp on the island and the hush puppies are awesome. Been going there for years and never miss it every time we go to Galveston. Go early as the line gets long fast.

Shrimp and Stuff serve fresh seafood prepared after your order is placed at the counter! The Coconut shrimp, gumbo, salad with boiled shrimp, and many other choices entreat all family and friends! If it is pretty, sit outside in the courtyard, but guard your food; the birds tend to think it is theirs!

I read the good reviews here on Tripadvisor so this place was on our plan. Seemed like mostly fried seafood. It was good but not super good. I had the fried shrimp and crab balls. I didn't care for the crab balls. The employees were not very friendly either. You'll have to try it, maybe it was just us.

This place was recommended by our hotel...very local clientele. Order at the window, find a seat, get a pager to pick up order. Fried comfort foods. Huge portions, friendly service. Got very crowded by 6pm.

My wife and I went here the first time we came to Galveston, about 25 years ago. Except for the flat screen TV it's exactly the same. Not at all fancy, but good fried seafood at good price. I noticed a lot of locals eat there, cops too, they know where the good food is.

Good local joint, no frills, order at the counter, find a seat (we liked the breezeway in the middle), and pick up when your beeper goes off. Patient staff was helpful picking from the menu.

Shrimp & Stuff was recommended when I asked for a place to get fish while on business in Galveston. I tried the fire balls (fried jalapeno and cheese ball) - very good. I also got the platter with catfish and shrimp. Shrimp were okay - probably a little over done, but good flavor. the catfish was two very large pieces.... More

Everytime we are a in Galveston, we make a quick stop at shrimp & Stuff. It is nothing fancy, but they have a wide range menu. Yes, it is fried, but oh so good. Would go here before any Chain Seafood restaurant. GIve it a try. Can sit inside or out.

Description
Shrimp 'N Stuff Restaurant opened in 1976 and quickly became known as "the place where the locals love to eat." In these past 38 years we have had many guests visiting our fine city from across the U.S. who tell us they wished they had found Shrimp 'N Stuff the first day they arrived and assured us they will be back several times before they leave Galveston.
