When you live in Texas, you become a regular consumer of fresh salsa. You rate the local Tex-Mex restaurants based on how originally fresh and tasty you find their salsa. At least that's how we do! This place makes fresh chips and salsa daily...and both taste GREAT! They're chile rellenos, tacos, burritos and tortilla soups are amazing!

This restaurant is easily accessible from Bush. It has a patio for large groups. All of the Tex Mex food that I have tried here is great. They have the best chicken fried steak and cream gravy I have ever had. Very light batter. Specialty items are great as well. Love their chips and salsa. They have a full service... More

I ate at Matt's. The service was very good, the Frozen Margaritas and chips and salsa great. I had the tortilla soup, tomato base, it was just okay. I don't recall what my friend had but she thought it was very good. The restaurant has all types of food selections, not just Mexican.

I am not a big fan of the Tex-Mex fare coming from Arizona and being used to Sonoran style Mexican food. However, for Tex-Mex, this place certainly has it down right. They made a great steak and the Tex-Mex side dishes were great! Their Chili being primarily used as a sauce could use an upgrade but overall very good food!... More

Nothing spectacular, but an all around solid choice. Although they have Mexican food, it doesn't have that type atmosphere. In fact, I like their salmon and veggies. Nice place if you want a variety and not set on one thing.

This is a great place to go for Tex Mex. Make sure you get the Bob Armstrong dip. Yummy!! Also good tacos al carbon. Good margaritas too.

I watched employees (servers) standing in the back eating as my wife and I waited for service. I should have acknowledged this as an ndication to get up and leave. 1. Had to ask for salsa after 2. No chips until server realized we needed something to eat the queso with 3. No drink menu 4. Burnt food This is... More

I walked over here from the Hyatt for a quick dinner. Based on the ratings I was expecting quite a bit better than this. I ordered the house margarita which given the speed that they mixed it must come already prepared. It was bitter and one of the worst I've had in a while. I had to squeeze the mine... More
