I would not recommend this place. It's good if you want to feel like paying a lot for something makes it better. Start: nice wine selection. Bought a bottle of wine. Had the shrimp cocktail. I had to convince myself it was good. It's really wasn't. The shrimp was boiled and placed on lettuce with cocktail sauce. 3 pieces. Should... More

Very nice steakhouse! We had a very large party (approximately 20), but they served us like we had 4. Nice pace, very friendly, and exceptional taste. I had the filet and it was extremely tender. Highly recommend for business or special personal evening.

My appetizer consisted of a vodka martini with 3 huge olives followed by dinner their Filet Mignon which was prepared to perfection! I also ordered the mushrooms which is more than enough to share between 2 to 4 people depending on how much you like mushrooms.

Incredible menu with a wide variety of choices. The wine list is comprehensive. The service was as good you would expect in such a great restaurant.

We had an excellent meal with our server (Barbara) making it very pleasant. The restaurant "bar" did not have Tanquera for my Martini, but the lobby bar did, so Barbara made the extra steps to make my Martini. My Wife and I both had the 8 oz. Filet Just enough. The bar did have Dalwhinie, so my wife was thrilled.

Very good steak. Loved the appetizer cheese artisan option. The experience has turned me into somewhat of a cheese snob.

The food and service is top notch. Incredible seafood tower, lobster bisque and bone in steaks. We esp love the side dishes like cream spinach & habernero corn. Also has a very extensive wine menu. It is $$$$ but always worth it!

As steakhouses go, a good option. Not quite to the level of Ruth's Criss or Morton's but not as pricey, either. I recommend the lamb saddle.

One of the best steaks and sides I have ever had. Higher end steakhouse so prices are not cheap, but it is very worth the treat!

Of all the bad experiences my family and I had at the Gaylord this week, the Old Hickory exceeded my expectations. The service was good and the food was great.
