I hadn't tried Pappas BBQ yet and needed to bring my Dad a decent meal while in a local hospital. They were open on Easter Sunday, so we went through the drive-thru. It was very speedy and efficient. Ordered the Beef Brisket off the Bar-B-Q Specials section, along with the cucumber salad and ranch beans as sides for his lunch... More

As a longtime fan of Pappadeaux and Pappasitos I was more than interested in trying their barbecue joint. What a waste of time and money, and of goodwill on their part. The chopped beef sandwich was filled with uninspired chopped ends and scraps. The two-meat beef sausage and smoked turkey poboy came with incompletely sliced sausage clumped at one end... More

The place is clean with plenty of tables. I got a backed potato with brisket. The potato was hot and huge, the meat was chewy and the sauce tasted brunt and peppery. I could not eat it the taste was terrible

First time we ate here was a year ago. We each got a two meat plate, sausage and brisket. The brisket was very fatty. Hungry for B.Q. so we thought we would give them another try! This time we got the three rib pork dinner plate with two sides. The ribs were VERY VERY DRY and TOUGH! I got cucumber... More

The meat was really disappointing. The ribs were way too greasy. Brisket had too much fat than necessary. Already taken Malox and I'm still nauseous. Eat wisely my friends.

We had them cook a turkey for us for Thanksgiving and it was raw. We cut into it to slice for the table and it started bleeding. My husband had to cut it in half and put it on the grill for 2 hours before we could eat it.

I liked the pulled pork sandwich. The barbecue sauce was average. The pork and beans were not very good. I liked the potato salad. The service was good. The whole experience was a mixed bag.

Have been visiting Pappas Bar B-Q in Houston for several years and have never been disappointed by the food or drinks. Sometimes there might be a little chicken gristle or a bit too much fat connected to the meat but overall the food is worth the price.

This place was disappointing. I had the Turkey, green beans and yams. The turkey was bland, the green beans were tasty and the yams were good. The entire meal could have been served hotter. It seemed like it had been sitting in containers for a while. J- had a chicken baked potato and he pretty much hated it. The place... More

Good menu, lots of food to pick from, Reasonable prices. Quick service. The sandwich was ok, not enough bar b q flavor. French fries were great, hot and crispy. An ok visit, would go again, but would try something else on menu.
