...on draft we still have the wits about us to discuss the food. The Mussels Diabla were the best we've had together! The Endive Salad with a mustard vinaigrette had a variety of textures and flavors--we will be attempting to recreate this at home! The pork chop with French fries smothered in gravy and Brussels sprouts serves as the perfect... More

If you like craft beer, then come here for the Belgian draughts brewed by Trappist monks for over 150 years! This was our first visit and we had Chimay Blue, Kwak, St. Bernadus and, of course, Stella Artois, all expertly poured. Beer flights are available! For lunch, we had onion soup gratinée--the real deal--and grilled sandwiches (Croque Parisien and Le... More

While waiting for the light to change at the intersection of Houston Avenue and Crockett just north of Downtown, I noticed the bistro tables and chairs on the sidewalk and the charming façade of Café Brussels. After checking the well-designed website, my husband and I went there for Sunday brunch (choice of selections from three courses for $20). The menu... More

My niece and I share a birthday month so I wanted to take her to one of my favorite spots in town. I travel Europe a lot so to find a place with authentic Belgium food was a gem. I loved introducing her to the amazing unique place. A must go spot in Houston.

We live in Dallas and we love to visit cafe Brussels anytime we are in town visiting my mother in law! My in laws are from Belgium and we all love this place! Adorable decoration, tasty food and a good beer selection! The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting! I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is my second trip to Cafe Brussels for lunch. It's a lovely cafe along Houston Avenue. I went with a group from work during our lunch hour both times. Food was really enjoyable, excellent very light and fluffy quiche, tuna sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, good salads and tasty dressing to go with it. We plan to make it a regular... More

Not overly impressed... Although very convenient for the wife and I to get to, we just don't care to return. The food was decent, but there wasn't much to choose from. If you're only going to have a few menu items, they should be exceptional. They only had a handful of wines to choose from as well. And they didn't... More

We have been to many restaurants during this year's Houston Restaurant Weeks. We went to Cafe Brussels last week. It was a huge disappointment, especially that I was looking forward to it. I had gone repeatedly to a previous restaurant by the same owner that was very good. The room was nice and cozy, but the service was very inattentive.... More

The location is nothing from out of this world so I would not recommend it in the evening. Now, the cafe has a great atmosphere, is like entering in a small cafe in Bruges. Believe it or not, the menu is surprisingly well balance, pricing is right, great Belgum beers, food is cook out of scratch, great temperature and no... More

Wanted to celebrate my birthday at a wonderful restaurant and chose Cafe Brussels. I had lots of my favorite foods - escargot, moules au roquefort, and a flight of dark belgian beer. Others had the chicken, rabbit, and trout. YUM!!!!! Also, it is not noisy. This is as close as you can get to eating in Belgium or France without... More
