Visited puertos for a different taste of Mexican. Ordered the 3 tacos. The fish was the best. Will definitely go back

Great food and more importantly happy hour. Lots of outdoor seating with a great view of the lake. Attentive service.

Went for the first time last weekend. Great Food, Service, and ambiance. The menu may be limited but has great items. Not the typical yellow cheese and crimson greasy enchllada Tex-Mex joint. This is more refined. I'd call the Ceviche Tostada a briliant fusion of Peruvian and Mexican. Will return and probably will order exactly the same.

We arrived on Wednesday evening, the patio ad a few customers, we ordered Quesadilla and drinks. The Menu is very limited, this family should really look at Gloria's Restaurant in Midtown, Atmosphere is up beat and lively , great Latin Musuc,If the Owners started having Latino Salsa Dancing on Friday or Sat night the place would take off! You have to... More

This restaurant has a great patio and a decent bar but the food just isn't very good. Their salsa is very mediocre and their charro beans are the worst. Need to offer black beans and put more beans in the charro beans and less water and fat. I usually get the tacos but my wife did get a pretty decent... More

Not sure how this place is still in business. Have been here several times since it opened and there are never many customers. Tried it again today a Thursday afternoon...they had NO pollo!! We talked to a manager who told us one of the workers had left a large box of pollo out on Tuesday so it was spoiled and... More

They have a dessert that is world class! The beef fajitas are excellent. Atmosphere is top notch. Casual lakeside dining.

I had great expectations of Puerto because they own Chimichurris next door (which is amazing), unfortunately we were highly disappointed in the quality of food. I ordered the taco trio and chose the fish, pork, and beef fajita; EVERY taco tasted like it was reheated from the day before. They were not fresh and had no flavor. My husband ordered... More

The menu is expensive for what you get. I got the 3 taco combo. It came with a 1/2 cup of beans and a small amount of rice. The corn tortillas are not homemade. They are the little ones you get at the grocery store. They were just "ok". Not worth the $14. Service was good. View is good. I... More

I have read a number of reviews about the service being subpar. The issue isn't the servers, it is appears to be their training. Silverware should be part of table setup, not something a diner needs to request when food has been served. Not clear whether it was a waiter or other bussing tables. Would have been more effective and... More
