A small place with many options. I loved the steak on lafa sandwich (even though lafa is not on the menu) They have amba (mango dressing) that makes any sandwich that much better. Great kosher options

When I asked for freash pita bread, the woman behind the counter was "less than friendlY' and told me it would be an hour, rolled her eyes. I replied with, "well, at least I will know it's fresh. She had no comment and made a face. I took my business to Abdallah on Hillcroft. They had fresh pita ready and... More

At the time of this writing My Pita is the only kosher meat restaurant in Houston. Which means, people who observe kosher dietary laws will come there anyway, regardless of the quality of food or service there. To give them a credit, they started very good. At that time (about one or two years ago) they were actually very famous... More

Fresh and delicious Israeli style cuisine. Pargiot and Schwarma were exceptionally good. All the salads were fresh and delicious.

After a week in Houston, finally got to try this place. Nice small place. Did very good. We tried the Chinese and a schwarma plate. Good value, good service. Would definitely come back again.

This restaurant is tucked into a small strip mall in Meyerland and has minimal decor /ambience. However it serves up large portions of fresh and delicious grilled meats, salads and wonderful fresh baked pita bread. Certified glatt kosher by the HKA. I look forward to eating here again.

Glatt Kosher restaurant. We walked over to pick up some pitas and sandwiches. Smaller dining area with many choices. We ordered the chicken Laffa and the Shawarma Baguette. The food was excellent. My husband had the shawarma spicy and it lived up to the full flavor. The laffa size sandwich was enough to split. I would definitely recommend the sandwiches.... More

My Pita is where we go when we want (Israeli) comfort food. I especially like that they let me taste things before I commit to ordering. Their steak dishes are amazing and they usually have interesting specials. Service is sometimes inattentive but the food is worth it.

The food at My Pita is very fresh as it is always cooked to order. The salads and side dishes, likewise, are very fresh and tasty. The ambience at this establishment has improved since the last renovation. Great place to go out with family, catch up with friends, or even for business. Highly recommended, and once you try the food,... More
