Sunday Brunch at Tony Mandola's is always a special occasion. They have a great drink selection starting with Peach Belinis or Cajun margaritas or whatever. Very tasty egg dishes...I had the chicken biscuit egg combo...my wife had the skirt steak egg combo...both were excellent choices....More

This is a very nice and quiet restaurant. The food is great, very fresh and high quality, but service can be improved.

First off sorry for not remembering our waiters name. He was very good and attentive. He was not overbearing and helpful. The food was delicious. Ahi Tuna medium was seasoned and cooked medium like perfection. My babydoll's shrimp scampi shelled wonderful and she loved it....More

We hadn't been to Tony Mandolas in a while, but we'll be back soon. The food and service were excellent. Shrimp Larry is still wonderful. Trade the fries and slaw for the Sicilian salad and veggies and it's even better. Calamari is good and so...More

My mom and I decided to have dinner after seeing a wonderful show. We had their Seafood gumbo. Really good and attentive service.

The oysters were terrible - Rockefeller were gross; grilled tasted like fake smoke flavoring was added. I left my plate 3/4 full, and even pushed it away, and when Tony Mandola came around to speak to us, he seemed to not notice; he was delighted...More

Tony Mandola's is the kind of place you can keep going back to over and over and have a consistently good meal each time. Their seafood entrees are stellar. Great place for a special date night.

It has been a while since the move to the new location and while the food has remained very good the crouds have thined at this Houston favorite. I think the gumbo and salad combo at lunch is hard to beat. It is a restaurant...More

This place is an institution - classy Italian fare in a comfortable environment. Can't fault it in any way, always excellent food and good service. The only hassle is the valet parking - I much prefer to park my car myself, but that is a...More

Tony's is known as a place to celebrate and it has earned its status for good reason. The Villa-esque atmosphere is enhanced with white tableclothes and simply appointed tables. Both the dining room and the patio serve as a great backdrop for a special occasion...More

In 1982, we opened Tony Mandolaʼs Blue Oyster Bar on the Gulf Freeway, which we owned and operated for 22 years. A second Tony Mandolaʼs Blue Oyster Bar debuted on Shepherd in 1984, which he closed four years later in order to open our famous West Gray Tony Mandolaʼs flagship location. Our lifelong dream of owning a freestanding restaurant has now become a reality with the opening of our new, permanent Tony Mandola's location at 1212 Waugh Drive. We take great pride in serving what we think is some of the best food on the Gulf Coast. Everything is homemade fresh in our kitchen daily and many of our dishes are our Mamas' recipes. God Bless our Mamas and God Bless you for your patronage.“Dedicated to the preservation of the art of Mamas' Cooking.” Sincerely,Tony & Phyllis Mandola
