Ronald the manager thinks it is ok to hang up on my wife when she calls to ask him to please seat our guests before we arrived for my surprise birthday brunch. He was rude and inconsiderate. When she called back asking to speak to his supervisor and his/her name, he hung up on her again. Needless to say, he... More

The food quality was unfortunate. I had a beef burger, and the meat was on par with a fast food restaurant that had left the patty out a while. Atmosphere was nice with outdoor seating. A staff member actually told me that I need to use protection and not get pregnant, referencing my ostomy bag that does create a bulge... More

First off, James, I do apologize for how your burger turned out -- that's far from the standard for our beef. I'm also concerned to hear anyone on my staff would have made such comments -- no one should ever feel uneasy dining with us. That kind of talk is unbecoming of my team, so I'll be sure to address... Went here for a Sunday brunch and the buffet was DELISH!!! The ambiance of this restaurant is simply great. The fish tacos were great as was the sweet potato fries. I would definitely visit again when I am in Houston.

Great atmosphere for Sunday brunch, I love the setting, the buffet and the mimosa's are pretty good too. The service has always been on point and I have never waited too long for a table. I would definitely recommend this place, the non brunch menu looks good too...

A popular place - limited self parking. A wait but they move people through. Meals (lunch) were good, but based on reviews we had hoped for more. Son enjoyed his burger, but I have had much better reubens. The vegan options were a bit limited, but adequate.

Visited for the first time last Sunday. Anytime the temperature is below 80 degrees this is the place to be. I was so impressed by feel and outlook I don't notice how good the food was.

IMHO, Baba Yega is Houston's vegan restaurant! Prior to my most recent visit, I'd been there several times with friends including a young mentee who was impressed that Houston had a vegan restaurant. Years later, I was at an event with a mixed group of people. The high profile guest was vegan. I immediately thought of Baba Yega. I was... More

Whether you have a big event to plan or are just looking for a quiet lunch, we hope to welcome you back. All the best, Carlos, Manager More

We went with a group of friends, and had long table to fit us all. The place is unique, the layout is scattered and un-expected. During our visit all the doors and windows were open to let in the spring air. The noise around us more are voices travel less far... The menu is cafe like. We shared several appetizers... More

While I am glad you and your friends enjoyed the food, Michiel, I am sorry if the atmosphere took a bit away from your evening. As an outdoor restaurant, we certainly want people to enjoy the lovely spring weather. But, if that was getting in the way, I know my team would have accommodated if you brought it up to... More

The old owner promised the new owner would make things better. I saw no evidence of that in our recent lunch visit. The energy has shifted and it no longer feels like the Baba Yega I've grown up with and it's disappointing. Cons: The signature potato salad wasn't the same. It's like they tried to update it but didn't quite... More

Kat, I'm sorry to hear you've been disappointed with us lately -- we never want to let down our loyal customers. With a change of ownership comes inevitable changes in the menu, but I hope you can trust that we're as dedicated as ever to offering tasty food. I'll keep this in mind, but I hope we'll be able to... More

I've been here twice now and I can't wait to go back again. My partner and I are vegans and we love their vegan menu! The atmosphere is wonderful. Tasteful vintage deco, antique lighting, and historic feel make the dining experience that much better. The food is AMAZING! I've had the Reuben and the vegan club now. Their hummus is... More
