Great healthy food with large portions. Friendly staff .. I enjoy talking with Cindy when we go. Large selection of craft beer and great pub atmosphere.

I visited the Hobbit Cafe this past week. I had heard previously that it had closed. I am not sure why, but happily it is still doing a great job. My first visit to this cafe was back at its original location in the 1970's. During my seven years in Houston, we frequented the cafe to enjoy its wonderful menu... More

My sister and I went today after reading about it on Zagat. It is sort of hidden back in there and parking lot was full. We had excellent service from Dannie. We both had fish tacos. Blackened fish. Great sauce. Loved the mango pics. Will definitely be back

This is a tiny little cafe tucked behind Blue Fish House and Capones Oven & Bar. You pull into the parking lot/driveway between the two and the cafe is on the back on the right. It has inside and outside seating. It does not seem to be wheelchair friendly. I think you could navigate ok but it looked challenging to... More

I have been a loyal customer, albeit not too often since I live out of state. But, I dined there every time I am near or in Houston. My wife and I are Texas Renaissance Festival fans. we visit every year for the last 20. We have an early supper at the Hobbit Cafe before we head to the Woodlands.... More

Something for everyone. Vegans to meat eaters. Wine and beer only. I like the lamb burger. Great service. We really like Jennifer. She can help with wine and beer selection.

Dark decor, very relaxed service. Good avocado burger but bun was so-so and fell apart. Very good fries. Weak iced tea, no offer to refill.

Eight of us went there for lunch today. We each ordered something different and we were all pleased with what we ordered. Service was good and our waitress answered our question's honestly. The restaurant has been around for many years. It started as a vegetarian restaurant but has added dishes that fits any taste. Give it a try!

The menu had a big variety of food...everything from all American, greek, and mexican. The Black Bean nachos were delicious! The strawberry lemonade was fresh and tart (possibly made with REAL strawberries and Lemons). The prices were reasonable.

Clean, not fancy place for sandwiches, burgers and more. Great outside patio area with lights and beautiful plants. Sandwiches are named for people from the book. Plenty of meat and vegetarian options. Great service. Food portions are very generous - just a bit pricey.
