We had the filet' and it was very moist, cooked perfect and timely. The drinks were spot on and very cold. The desert was the best of the night. We will be back

Great service, nice ambiance, delicious and innovative food. By that I mean, not the same old, same old thing over and over.

Always a must go to while visiting or living in Houston. The old-school charm, incredible service, and Creole style food is a winner. The turtle soup is a must! If you're lucky, they might even give you a behind-the-scenes tour...don't pass it up!

Leave room for Bananas Foster dessert. Live jazz music sets the tone for a delicious meal with attentive wait staff.

We reviewed the various choices for 2017 Restaurant Week and chose the consistently excellent Brennan's. For our first dinner out. We met friends and were not disappointed. Turtle soup and shrimp remoulade were great appetizer choices. The pork tenderloin, redfish and truffled chicken mains were...More

We went to Brennan's on a recommendation from the GM of Hyatt Regency in Houston. The setting is chic, the menu is tempting. Despite a clumsy service from what appears to be an inexperienced waiter, we had a great meal. They elegantly didn't charge us...More

Food was good. It was not as great as I remember and service was slower than normal. Atmosphere is always wonderful. It is a great place to consider for special events, and I would go back again.

Having dined here in May 2016 it was a no-brainer to return on our next visit to Houston one year later. Outdoor dining was nixed on our first visit by drizzling rain but the weather was perfect on our most recent visit and we had...More

Description
Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.
