This place has been around for a while, here I feasted on some on a dozen Oysters and then went straight for the Grilled Redfish. Had a few drinks afterwards at the Courtyard bar.

10 of my family were seated in a private dining room for a birthday celebration. One waiter was assigned to serve us. Service and food was exceptional.

We enjoyed eating here Mother's Day evening. The food was incredible – their gulf fish ponchartrain a classic that cannot be beat. Pre-dinner drinks (an old fashion for my mother who is gone and mint juleps) also perfect. The service was impeccable: they anticipated our...More

We chose Brennan's because we were a party of 6 that wanted a quiet corner for "catch-up conversation." We were seated in a corner of the restaurant that was ideally conducive to our goal. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and I was dining...More

Don’t know if this is where Houston’s beautiful people go, but everyone looks beautiful here. This is definitely the celebratory place for the dressy brunch crowd. The surroundings alone will class you up, whether you sit in the flatteringly lit main dining room or out...More

Dress close pictured indicated jacket required, but website indicates otherwise. We are traveling from out of state and need to know if we need to pack a jacket for dinner or if a button down shirt is acceptable. Thank you.

Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.
