This small cafe / delicatessen is a favorite location for us in the West University area. They have great burgers, sandwiches and other entrees with both inside and outside seating.

Went with some friends for lunch today...quite expensive for what we got...Caesar salad was $9...There are better restaurants to eat at that are less expensive.

Edloe Deli is a hidden in a neighborhood. It serves all three meals and caters events as well. The owner also contributes to the neighborhood and schools. They also work with an animal shelter and seem to be very involved with the community. The food is not like a typical New York style deli, but more like that of a... More

Had lunch today and got stuffed avocado, grilled chicken sandwich, grilled shrimp platter and taco salad. What a great variety to suit all tastes. Everything very good except garlic mashed potato. More like soup. Fresh lemonade was very tasty.

Edloe St. Café is nestled in the heart of West University Place, one of the most beautiful areas of Houston. Located only a mile or so from the Southwest Freeway and minutes from Rice University, the Museum District, the Medical Center and, of course, downtown; it is a beautiful place to stop by and get a great meal. We had... More

Not our part of town, but got hungry while running far flung errands. Found this place just before they were closing. Did they point that out? No! They were great, welcoming, even willing to discuss menu. For service alone, they'd get an excellent. And the salad and pulled pork sandwich they brought out to us with a smile was fresh... More

I've been to Edloe's several times and have never been disappointed! My friend had the fish tacos, which I tasted, and I have to say, not being a fan of fish tacos in the past, they were superb. Changed my whole opinion of fish tacos!! I had the spinach enchiladas & they were off the chart good! Berry Salad is... More

This is a place that only the locals know about. Try the enchiladas even though it is not a mex restaurant. The chop salad is great. Chicken stuffed avocado is great.

This little neighborhood gem (excuse the trite expression) has incredible food. They cater beautifully and you can bring a casserole dish and they will prepare your dish. They have the best pulled pork sandwiches in all Houston but they are not a barbecue place. Their deli salads like egg, chicken and pimiento make for a difficult choice. Their Mexican food... More
