This is not my first rip first but have to praise Arnaldo, the owner, for food at it's finest. When I was there last month I ordered the crawfish enchilades and they were fabulous. Make sure to order the extra hot sauce from the kitchen, They will only bring it if you ask for it. I could eat here every... More

Picos Restaurant in Houston has nice setting and huge as it's a popular Mexican food. It's average on taste though

Two soft tacos, beef and chicken, very good with chicken Quesadillas and a vanilla flan, all excellent. Also noticed a plate delivered to the next table, steak fajitas, looked like a thick char grilled steak cut into strips , sizzling atop a heap of seasoned rice , Next time .

I was excited to try Picos in Houston but our dinner experience was just average. From the salsa and chips to the dishes my wife and I ordered, the food was just ok, nothing that would bring me back. We had a big group so I can understand service being a little slow but the food was disappointing.

Went for lunch and everyone tried something from a different region of Mexico. Red pozole from Jalisco, cochinita pibil from the Yucatan, chiles en nogada from Puebla. We also had a really fresh delicious ceviche with firm chunks of fresh snapper cured in lime juice with sweet mango and cilantro. If you want something different this is a great place!

This venerable Houston restaurant excels at authentic Mexican food, offering dishes from seven cuisine regions. Excellent Mexican seafood. My Red Snapper mojo de ajo was heavenly. The snapper was very fresh, firm, and expertly grilled. The garlic based topping was other worldly. Pork dishes also very robust. Have a Cesar salad - just like the original in Tijuana. The tortilla... More

PICOS serves the Best Authentic Mexican Food in Houston. Everything on the menu is amazing & you should try different things every time you go. Tell the server to give you suggestions. They were the 1st restaurant to serve the shaker Margarita way back in the 80's & their Margaritas are still #1. They are better than anywhere in the... More

The restaurant is big and can accommodate small and large group. Our server was Jorge and he was very good! He recommended us what to eat and drink. The meals were perfect. We got seafood and it was super fresh. To get for sure is the guacamole, they smashed the avocado and prepare it in front of us! My friend... More

So, I happened to be on Kirby Drive last week and saw sign advertising Tamales!! I entered the parking lot on the Richmond side and went to the little food-truck looking building. I had the idea that I wanted to eat something different for lunch. So, I was thinking I would order a few tamales. As I walked up and... More

What a wonderful restaurant. This is a real gourmet Mexican restaurant. There is traditional and inovative food for every taste. You have to stop eating their free salsas so you have room for all the great food.
