I am not in the habit of giving a 5 out of 5. As a trained Chef the Old school way , when on a holiday anywhere I make it a point to go to somewhere fancy and French, even if it is a bit pricy. Le Mistral was really a pleasant surprise almost like Georges Augustus Escoffier himself was... More

This is the place to have a nice business meeting with your employees. It has a nice French menu with many different options. It also have a lunch menu option which is fast and as tasteful as the rest of the menu. The bread is also amazing. Don't forget to try the desert!

It's hard to say enough nice things: we've been here for anniversaries, Monday night dinners, and Sunday brunch. It is uniformly outstanding. A little pricey, perhaps, but you will never be disappointed.

A friend told us this was the best French Resturant in the city so we thought we would try it for a Valentines dinner. The food was good but not great. Presentation and flavors were also good. Service was spotty at best, I think the waiter had too many tables so he couldn't keep up! We had to ask for... More

If you like French food - that's the place for you. If you would like to try some without visiting France, this is as close to "cousine Francais" as you can get. Chef is actually super nice and goes around the sited tables to meet up with customers and check on them. Now, this is something you won't see in... More

We had a lunch meeting here this week and I was eager to try it after seeing all the great reviews. The food was excellent but our server was horrible. She actually kept waving her hand at my colleagues and myself saying, "yes, yes, I got it and I know, I know!" One of my colleagues can not have alcohol... More

I was surprised at the high quality of this place. It is 5 star in the suburbs. They have amazing food, service and atmosphere. I highly reccommend the Beef Wellington and the Lemon Tarte. They have their own bakery and dessert Chef. I would even say it is worth the drive if you are on an opposite side of town.

Le Mistral is simply the best French food in Houston. They do all the classic dishes, including foie gras, escargot, beef wellington, and onion soup. My favorite is the Chilean Sea Bass. The wine list is full of French wines, including some from the lesser known appellations that are more moderately priced. Desserts are not to be missed. They all... More

An exceptional dining experience in the heart of the energy corridor. Exceptional ambiance, food, presentation and service (thanks Francis). Le Mistral will be a mandatory stop every time we are in Houston.

We held a double celerbration of a birthday and anniversary here. The food was superb, the server was attentive, the setting was classy. We were very happy that we came here. Must try their chocolate souffle and creme brulee!

Since 2001, Le Mistral has built a niche in West Houston's Energy Corridor as the best food in town. We are a fine French restaurant offering exquisite dishes, a note-worthy wine list and top notch service.
