Chef David and Chef Lionel truly love what they do. The Chef's Table is an awesome experience. Every employee at Les Mistral is an expert and is enthusiastic about your experience. The food is superb and the staff is incredible.

We moved in the area over a year ago and were looking for a good place for dinner ...wow what a fantastic surprise. It is now our go to place for celebration or whenever we feel like it . We also reserved the "chef's table" where you eat in the kitchen and where the chef himself joins you to prepare... More

We enjoyed the Rib eye steak. The scallop appetizer was great. The Sea Bass dish would have been better tasted if we did have them pour the lemon grass sauce over the rice. This made the rice soggy. We loved the fresh bread. The only thing we wondered was the butter that came with the bread. It's green. We figured... More

This is a close as you will get to authentic European dining, from the greeting to the au revoir the service, food and atmosphere is first class. I had a glass of Champaign to wet the pallet, and a half bottle of Côte de Beaune to go with the duck, not a good pairing you might say but my taste... More

I went to France three times in my life, two to Paris, one to the South near Gironde delta. Every food that I had in restaurants was good, some of them, amazing. Le Mistral brings to Houston the taste of France. Today was my second time here, just for a shrimp salad and a coffee with my wife. Fantastic, very... More

Three of us girlfriends arrived around 8:30 Saturday evening to celebrate a birthday. This isn't our first time to come here for a birthday celebration. The food and service is top notch. And the presentation will always amaze you! We ordered the perfect Cotes de Rhone wine to share with our dinner of (my personal favorite) goat cheese salad, soup... More

Food and wine pairings were excellent but it was Francis who really made our night. He was so very gracious in his service. Thank you again.

They were very nice to set us up in the wine room, unfortunately we didn't think that it would be as cold. Some of my guests were uncomfortable. The sommelier was rude and wouldn't listen to my husband, treated him as if he didn't know anything about wine....after a long discussion the wine chosen was not available! Some of our... More

Met a friend for lunch and we both got the business special. 4 courses for about $20. Everything was fresh and tasty, atmosphere is quiet and low-key, service was great. This is one of my "go to" business lunch locations - a bit upscale and with a enough interesting options on the menu to impress, but never over the top... More

Le Mistral maintains it's quality as a top gourmet restaurant in Houston. Beautifully presented food imaginative menu and superbly prepared. My cappuccino mushroom soup was so simple but gorgeous. This is the place for a celebrations where the quality of the food is part of the event. Now the acoustics have been improved with some softer furnishings it is an... More
