So I wanted breakfast and of course when I'm in Houston this is a go to spot and I'm never disappointed in the service. I did go on a Friday which the wait wasn't as long as going on the weekends smh bring a chair for the weekends. The food is great and you get a good amount for the... More

I had breakfast here last Friday, which is not uncommon for me over the last 16 years. Since it's opening, The Breakfast Klub has been my favorite breakfast spot as well as a favorite of many Houston locals. The not uncommon long lines (worth it) prove it. Not only do I frequent The Breakfast Klub, but it is a must... More

Although a tad on the expensive side for breakfast, this Breakfast Klub location near downtown Houston was well worth it. We were enthusiastically welcomed to this homey, Southern breakfast location and though you may have a short wait, the food is like your Mama would have served -- very tasty and lots of it!! We had a large family group... More

First thing you should know about this place is you'll probably have to queue, for quite a long time (out the door and around the corner of the building!) The staff are really nice and give you menus while you wait. By the time you reach the counter to place your order, you should know what you're going to order... More

Sure, you can go there for the perfects grits, biscuits and such, the luscious green eggs and ham, or for jazz always playing and the jazzy room with chipboard tables and lazy fans and dramatic local art all over the walls. You have to be ready for the ladies calling you baby, reminding you to close your purse and to... More

I received a lot of feedback to try this place before leaving Houston and we did just that on travel day. We got there when the doors opened at 7 am during the week. There was three other groups waiting as well. We were greeted to clapping and loud, joyous gratefulness for opening up with The Breakfast Klub. A morning... More

If you like noisy cafeteria style service, this is it! The food is so so, and very overpriced, make it while you can I guess......... These guys are living off of the publicity given them by the Houston Chronicle. Always packed, brace yourself for a long wait for mediocre food. Good luck

This is like going to Gam-Gam's house for breakfast. The staff were so nice and attentive it almost made me uncomfortable. The food was quick to come out and hearty - the chicken and waffles will put a Christmas-morning grin on your face. The coffee selection is self-serve and extensive. Sit outside if you can. It's no Michelin starred restaurant... More

Yes there's a line. Yes it's worth it. No the food doesn't "look" the most delicious but it certainly does taste the most delicious!

I was not impressed. First of all the food is way overpriced. I don't mind paying if it's worth it, but honestly this food is nothing special. It's just plain breakfast with a soul food appearance. For example the biscuits and gravy are white grave with cut up sausage links in it. The place is dirty and looks run down.
