Thelma's was the best BBQ in Houston...unfortunately its closed now. I hope Thelma is doing well, she was always a sweet Lady.
We've been eating Thelma's bbq for ten years, at the old location and the new, and it is about the best in Houston - good ribs, brisket and mile high piled potatoes. Enjoy!

Thelma the owner was really nice to us. We ordered a rib and chopped beef sandwich. The beef was tender and the ribs were meaty and huge. The sauce is on the sweet side, but still a great addition to any meal. Highly recommend.
